Integration Psychotherapy
Integration Psychotherapy is the clinical expression of my work within the field of psychotherapy. It brings together my learning since entering the helping professions in 2005, including accredited training in Neurosomatic Psychotherapy, alongside long-standing inquiry into embodiment, trauma, consciousness, and integration.
My approach combines talking therapy, somatic practice, and transpersonal perspectives, held within a grounded, science-informed understanding of the human system and the process of individuation. It supports clients to work not only with narrative and insight, but with the body, nervous system, and lived experience as active participants in healing.
Over time, I have developed a way of working that helps people access aspects of themselves that may previously have been unavailable or hidden. This can allow new resources to emerge — resources that can be drawn upon beyond the therapy room. My background in Yoga Therapy provides a strong foundation for trauma-informed work, supporting clients to feel safe enough to remain present, regulate their system, and integrate experience gradually and responsibly.
Suitability for Integration Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is often a long-term commitment to the self, and it rests on the development of a strong therapeutic relationship over time. Integration Psychotherapy may be particularly suited to you if you have already spent time in talking therapy and feel ready for a more embodied approach. People may also seek this work when living with ongoing psychological distress, following an acute shock or trauma, or during periods of transition, uncertainty, or personal reorientation. It can also support those who wish to deepen self-understanding and cultivate greater internal coherence in their lives.
Why work with Me?
I have worked therapeutically with individuals in recovery from addiction since 2009, where complex presentations are common. This has included work with co-occurring experiences such as ADHD, autism, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related responses, OCD, and personality organisation.
Alongside this, I have supported individuals living with high levels of responsibility, stress, and cumulative trauma. As an adult educator and trainer in the wellbeing field, I have also accompanied many students through significant psychological processes and periods of spiritual awakening. Across these contexts, my work is grounded in careful listening, somatic awareness, and respect for each person’s pace and capacity.
How Sessions Work?
Sessions are usually held weekly or fortnightly, depending on what is appropriate and sustainable. We begin by clarifying what is bringing you to therapy now, and we work slowly enough for your system to remain resourced. This may include dialogue, tracking bodily responses, and attending to patterns that emerge in relationship.
If you are unsure whether this approach is right for you, you’re welcome to enquire and I will let you know what feels most appropriate – whether that is working with me directly or being matched through my CIC Integration Psychotherapy Services.
Availability, Fees and Pathways into Therapy
My availability for one-to-one psychotherapy is limited. Sessions are offered at £100–£120 per hour, depending on individual circumstances.
Alongside my own clinical work, I am the founder of Integration Psychotherapy Services (IPS) and remain closely involved in the matching of clients across the wider therapeutic ecosystem. Where appropriate, people are supported to find the pathway that best fits their needs, availability, and financial circumstances.
There are three ways of accessing therapy within this framework:
Working directly with me
One-to-one psychotherapy at a rate of £100–£120 per hour, offered online or in person where availability allows.
Working with a graduate therapist through IPS
Therapy with a graduate of the Integration Psychotherapy training, working independently but within the clinical framework I have developed. Sessions are typically offered within the range of £70–£100 per session and are matched carefully according to therapeutic need and practitioner experience.
Reduced-cost therapy through IPS
Therapy with a second-year Integration Psychotherapy student who has been assessed as competent to practise and is working within a closely supervised placement. Sessions are offered on a sliding scale of £20–£60 per session, ensuring access remains possible where finances are a barrier.
All therapists working within these pathways are supported by high-quality supervision and held within a shared ethical and clinical framework. Matching is approached with care, with the intention of supporting both effective therapeutic work and long-term sustainability for clients and practitioners alike.
